Fantastic Mountain top getaway for body, mind and soul! We had the opportunity to stay at Brett and Kimberly's gorgeous mountain top home this Labor Day weekend and it exceeded our expectations on multiple fronts! Our host, Bret, also the owner of the home, was very gracious and welcoming and great to communicate with and kept in touch to make sure we were enjoying our stay. The location is great, with the house perched at the top of Mt Nebo in the woods and at the edge of a cliff with spectacular views of the green, verdant valley, the Arkansas river and Lake Dardanelle. The view is great and it's worth waking up early to catch sunrise over the mountains and the valley. Deer stop by and you can set out feed that is provides so they stay awhile. you are right on the rim trail and can get out to hike or ride very easily and the community pool and park visitor center are walking distance. It is quiet and secluded yet close enough to town. The house itself is fantastic. It's tastefully decorated, upscale and very comfortable and clean. Comfy beds and couches, 2 living areas, a large patio with plenty of space to gather or spread out. The kitchen is well stocked with basic spices, equipment etc. to whip up a great meal. We grilled out on the patio and it was wonderful eating out with the view and the sounds of the woods. You will have to duke it out for space on the hanging bedswing on the second floor patio...prime real estate with the best view and ambiance! We would love to come back!
